This
is the moment I've been waiting for. The new government delivering a
scathing verdict on 'the books'. It seems the previous government signed
off as many contracts as possible before the election, a 'scorched
earth' policy as the headline states.
And although his reputation
as an economic guru is somewhat overrated, it is good to have Vince
Cable on board to lend the Conservative line a bit of credibility with
some sceptics in the public. And yet still there will be some who think
another five years of Labour were the answer to our economic woes!
I
live in hope that we could see some ex-Labour ministers in the dock
over this, in what would be Britain's biggest ever fraud trial.
